Transitioning Home Workshop with Coyote Coast

Will your teen or young adult be returning home from a residential treatment program in the next 2-6 months? Or has she/he/they recently transitioned home?

Many parents bringing a teen or young adult home wonder:

• Will my child’s self destructive or challenging behaviors reappear?
• How will we hold limits and boundaries without losing our connection with our child?
• What work do we still need to do as parents to make this transition smooth?
• If our child relapses, what should we do?

This workshop is designed to help you maintain the gains your family has made while your teen/young adult has been in a treatment program. Specific strategies will be offered and parents will have the opportunity to work with transition specialists, Shamita Dhar and Alex Georgakopoulos of Coyote Coast Youth and Family Counseling. Parents play a major roll in their young person's long term success post-treatment. Join us as we discuss the joys and challenges of the transition process and what you can do to rebuild a healthy family.
